Brazilian defender Viery arrives for Fiorentina medical before €15m move

Brazilian defender Viery has arrived in Florence for medical tests with Fiorentina ahead of a €15m transfer from Gremio, according to Football Italia.

The 21-year-old landed in Rome this morning, then travelled to join the club at their Viola Park training centre.

He is currently undergoing medical examinations at the facility.

Fiorentina have already shared images of their incoming signing on social media.

The transfer is expected to be completed today and he is expected to sign a five-year contract as the club are about to confirm their first summer signing.
