Liverpool have completed the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123m, making the France international one of the most expensive players in the club's history.

The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract with Liverpool after the Premier League club reached an agreement with PSG for an initial fee of £106m, with a further £17m available in potential add-ons.

Barcola becomes one of Liverpool's biggest-ever signings, with only Alexander Isak having commanded a higher fee.

Barcola completed his medical in Liverpool before finalising the move, with the transfer completed ahead of Tuesday's Premier League deadline.

The winger had been Liverpool's leading target for much of the summer as new manager Andoni Iraola looked to strengthen his attacking options following Mohamed Salah's departure.

Liverpool had been in talks with PSG for several weeks before finally reaching an agreement, with ESPN reporting that the overall package could reach €140m (£120m) depending on the add-ons.

Barcola leaves PSG after three seasons in the French capital, having joined from Lyon in 2023. He made 152 appearances for the club, scoring 39 goals and registering 37 assists across all competitions.

The French international was part of PSG's Champions League-winning side and helped the club secure three Ligue 1 titles and two French Cups during his time at the Parc des Princes.

Barcola's final season in Paris saw him make 49 appearances and score 13 goals, although his position in Luis Enrique's starting XI came under increasing pressure following the arrival of further attacking reinforcements.
