Chelsea are close to announcing a new front shirt sponsor, with the deal expected to last until the end of the season.
This is the third season in a row the Blues have entered without a front of shirt sponsor, and it’s been reported Chelsea are looking for a deal worth around £60m per season.
In that time Chelsea have had a number of short term deals, with Infinite Athlete appearing on the shirt for part of the 2023/2024 season, whilst Damac appeared for a handful of games at the end of last season.
It was reported last month Chelsea were in the closing stages of their process of finding a new sponsor, whilst the club have announced a new sleeve sponsor.
Journalist Matt Law has labelled the lack of updates as embarrassing, but according to football finance expert Łukasz Bączek it appears the Blues are close to announcing a new sponsor.

He took to X.com and said:
“Chelsea are close to announcing a new front-of-shirt sponsor.
“The Oracle deal is reportedly tied to broader investments by Clearlake Capital.
“The deal is expected to last until the end of the current season. Oracle will pay significantly less than the club initially expected.”
One reason companies could be reluctant to committing to a longer term deal is because of the 74 charges hanging over Chelsea, with a resolution yet to be reached.
The lack of shirt sponsor is causing Chelsea to miss out on much needed revenue compared to their rivals who all have multi million pound deals.
