Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is preparing to mark a special milestone this weekend, as he takes charge of his 50th La Liga match when Barcelona face Celta Vigo away from home.
The German, now in his second season at the club, continues to build on the success of his debut campaign, one that saw him deliver a domestic treble and re-establish Barça’s competitive edge across all fronts.
As Flick gets ready to reach the half-century mark, his numbers paint a clear picture of efficiency, consistency, and ambition, though there are signs that improvements are still needed in certain areas.
Since taking over the reins, Flick’s Barcelona have registered 36 victories out of 49 league fixtures, equating to an impressive win rate of 73.5%.
The Catalans have dropped points in 13 games during that period, five draws and eight defeats in total.
Interestingly, those losses have been evenly split between home and away matches, including the two away defeats this season against Sevilla and Real Madrid.
In terms of goal output, Barcelona have scored 130 goals under Flick in La Liga, while conceding 52, a positive goal difference of 78.

However, the data also shows a slight downward trend compared to last season.
After 11 league matches last year, Barça had scored 37 goals and conceded only 10, boasting a goal difference of 27.
This time around, the tally stands at 28 goals scored and 13 conceded, with the difference down to 15.
Regardless of how the Celta clash ends, Flick will sit fifth in Barcelona’s all-time La Liga rankings for managers with at least 50 games, having collected a minimum of 113 points.
Only Luis Enrique (124 points), Xavi (118), Pep Guardiola (117), and Ernesto Valverde (117) stand ahead.
Luis Enrique still leads the pack with 40 wins, 4 draws, and 6 losses in his first 50 matches, a benchmark Flick will be eager to chase.
A victory in Vigo would push Flick’s tally to 116 points, underlining how his era at Barcelona continues to gain strength and stability.
