Breel Embolo’s United States visa has been approved, and he is due to join the Switzerland squad on Friday.
The striker was not cleared to travel with the national team on Tuesday. The Swiss FA said in a statement that he can fly on Friday and is scheduled to link up with the squad that evening, local time.

Switzerland have been in the United States for three days preparing for the World Cup.
They are in Group B and will face Qatar on 13 June, Bosnia-Herzegovina on 18 June, and Canada on 24 June.
The World Cup runs from 11 June to 19 July.
