Brenet delivers two assists as Kayserispor climb to 16th | OneFootball

Kayserispor beat Konyaspor 2-1 to rise from 18th to 16th in the Süper Lig, as Joshua Brenet supplied both assists.

Eren Yağmur put Konyaspor ahead in the 47th minute. Moments later, Laszlo Benes levelled from the centre of the box (49.), Brenet releasing the break before squaring for the finish.

Fedor Chalov turned in the winner from close range after another Brenet delivery (74.).

Konyaspor's Riechedly Bazoer received a second yellow and was sent off (87.).

Substitute goalkeeper Egemen Aydın kept the visitors in it late on, saving from Furkan Soyalp (89.). He then held Benes' drive in the third minute of second half stoppage time.

Kayserispor registered 10 shots on target from 15 attempts. Konyaspor tallied 16 attempts but worked the goalkeeper only three times and struck the woodwork twice.

Konyaspor stay ninth. Next, they visit Trabzonspor in the Türkiye Kupası final.
