Breno Bidon has been named on Ancelotti’s Brazil provisional list and could earn a first senior call-up in the next FIFA window, from 21 September to 6 October. According to Meu Timao, the Corinthians midfielder is under consideration.
The squad will be announced on Wednesday 9 September at 15:00. Bidon, a former youth regular who won the 2025 South American Under-20 title, has yet to feature for the senior side.
Brazil reconvene for the first time since a 2-1 defeat to Norway at the 2026 World Cup. They face Australia on 25 and 29 September at 07:00 at the Brisbane Suncorp Stadium. They then travel to India to play the hosts at Salt Lake Stadium, Calcutta, on 3 October, time to be confirmed.
Bidon has stood out for Corinthians despite a poor run. The team lost 2-1 at home to bottom side Chapecoense on Sunday at Neo Química Arena.
He scored the goal that eliminated Rosario Central, sending Corinthians into the Libertadores quarter-finals. He also had a strike against Chapecoense ruled out for offside.
Beşiktaş of Türkiye have shown interest and signalled a willingness to pay up to 18 million euros. No formal offer arrived.
Meanwhile Bidon prepares for the Libertadores quarter-final with Estudiantes. The first leg is on Wednesday at 21:30, with the return on Wednesday 16 September at the same time at Neo Química Arena.
