Breno Bidon will miss Corinthians' next Brasileirão match against Santos after receiving his third yellow card in Sunday's defeat at Coritiba, according to Meu Timao.
The midfielder was booked on 41 minutes of the first half, with the hosts already 1-0 up, after tangling with Thiago Santos in the box. He had been cautioned against Bahia on 28 January and 26 July.
Corinthians also face absences in defence and midfield. Centre-back André Ramalho remains sidelined as he recovers from labyrinthitis. André Luiz has a grade 2 right thigh muscle injury. Zakaria Labyad is out for the season with a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee.
In attack, Yuri Alberto is being treated for a grade 2 right thigh injury. Vitinho is following a recovery programme after surgery on the meniscus in his left knee, and youngster Kayke will not play again this year due to a ruptured ACL in the same left knee.
For the derby in Itaquera, head coach Fernando Diniz should be able to call on key returns. Rodrigo Garro is back from suspension, while goalkeeper Hugo Souza and full backs Matheuzinho and Matheus Bidu, rested for load management in Curitiba, are available again.
The loss dropped Corinthians one place to 10th in the table, on 32 points from 24 matches. The Clássico Alvinegro is scheduled for 16:00 on 30 August at Neo Química Arena.
