Brentford and THE PLAY to create prints of iconic Premier League moments | OneFootball

Brentford has agreed a retail collaboration with Copenhagen-based design studio THE PLAY to commemorate the Bees’ iconic Premier League moments into artworks.

A series of minimalist artworks will be created and made available for fans to purchase, beginning with Sergi Canós, 2021.

THE PLAY specialises in designs that celebrate fans’ favourite sporting moments. Their range of football designs features teams’ most special goals and the unique visual style tells the story of how those iconic moments happened in real time with a tactical view of the build-up and the players involved.

The collaboration with Brentford kicks off with a bespoke illustration of the club’s first-ever Premier League goal; Sergi Canós' strike against Arsenal on an unforgettable opening night of the 2021/22 season at Gtech Community Stadium.

The goal on Brentford’s Premier League debut marked the start of a new era for the club and for many of our fans it remains one of their most treasured memories while supporting the Bees, making it the perfect moment to immortalise in a design by THE PLAY.

Sergi Canós, 2021 is available to purchase now on THE PLAY’s website. The prints come in three different sizes, and all purchases include a frame of your choice.

Brentford and THE PLAY will collaborate on more designs over the next three years to give fans the opportunity to own more creative illustrations of their favourite Premier League moments.

All artworks will be limited edition and only sold on THE PLAY’s website and at select Brentford locations.
