The match officials for Leeds United’s Premier League clash with Brentford on Sunday afternoon have been announced, with John Brooks set to take charge at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Select Group official is in his fifth season in the Premier League. In that time the 35-year-old has overseen 64 top-flight matches beginning with a 2021 meeting between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley.

The Leicestershire-native has worked his way up the English football pyramid, with almost 200 EFL matches officiated. In their eight games refereed by Brooks, the Whites have won two times and drawn on one occasion.

The Bees, meanwhile, have recorded nine wins in their 16 matches officiated by the referee, drawing three. Brentford is Brooks’ most refereed club in his career.

On the officials previous visit to the Gtech in the top-flight, the home side beat Manchester City 1-0 on the last day of the 2022/23 season. His last game for Leeds was the Whites' 1-0 loss to Southampton in the Championship Play-Offs Final at Wembley two seasons ago.
