Brentford have signed Senegal international El Hadji Malick Diouf from West Ham in a deal worth about 41 million euros, keeping the left-back in the Premier League after the Hammers' relegation to the Championship.

West Ham said on Friday that an agreement had been reached with Brentford. The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with an option of a further season. The package is estimated at 35 million pounds including add-ons.

The departures continue at West Ham, with summer sales now surpassing 200 million euros following Mateus Fernandes's 98 million euros move to Tottenham and Crysencio Summerville's 70 million euros switch to Al-Hilal.

Diouf joined West Ham from Slavia Prague last summer for 22 million euros. He made 34 appearances last season and has 23 caps and one goal for Senegal.
