In celebration of 100 years of wearing our red and white stripes, Brentford Football Club will launch the red and white centenary wall, which fans are invited to be a part of.

The wall will feature nine members of Brentford’s Hall of Fame - Amy Crook, Terry Evans, Marcus Gayle, Peter Gelson, Pontus Jansson, Chris Kamara MBE, Kevin O’Connor, Lloyd Owusu and Sam Saunders - to mark the club’s history over the years, as well as the Bees' iconic identity.

Fans can be a part of the photomosaic wall by submitting their image now. Submissions cost £45 each and club profits from the wall will be donated to the Heart of West London initiative. The wall, to be installed during the first half of the 2025/26 season, will be located outside of the box office at Gtech Community Stadium.

Fans can also purchase a memento alongside their photo submissions as a keepsake or gift to remember their role in the red and white centenary wall.

Space on the wall is limited, so supporters are advised to send their image across as quickly as possible to avoid missing out on this historic celebration.

Find out more about the nine club legends who will be depicted through a photomosaic made up of images of Brentford supporters.

Amy Crook

Made 480 appearances and scored 300 playing for Brentford Women after the team was established in 1990. She went on to have various roles with the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and was appointed Brentford Women's general manager in 2020.

Terry Evans

With 285 appearances and 30 goals, Evans joined Brentford in 1986 from Hillingdon but first established himself in the first team under Steve Perryman as a defender. He was named captain by Phil Holder in the summer of 1990 and lifted the Third Division title the following season after a stunning run of six straight wins to close out the campaign.

Marcus Gayle

Club ambassador Gayle made 230 appearances and scored eight goals at Brentford. He was a product of the youth team set-up and first made his start in the 1990/91 season under Phil Holder. Gayle played a key role in the promotion of the team in 1991/92 and also earned 18 caps for Jamaica.

Peter Gelson

Making 516 appearances and scoring 18 goals, Gelso joined Brentford as a teenager in the late 1950s and made his debut at the age of 19 in August 1961, but he was a part-time player until 1964, owing to his day job as a Post Office engineer. He played an important role in the Fourth Division title-winning season of 1962/63.

Pontus Jansson

Jansson made 115 appearances and scored four goals for Brentford, whilst captaining the Bees to promotion to the Premier League in 2021. The Swedish defender signed for Brentford in the summer of 2019, before being handed the captain’s armband shortly after his arrival, with his undying passion and determination uniting the players and fans in the quest for top-flight football. He was a key figure in the club’s first Premier League campaign and departed after four seasons in the summer of 2023 to return to his boyhood club Malmö.

Chris Kamara MBE

Kamara notched 190 appearances and scored 32 goals. Kamara formed a formidable midfield relationship with Terry Hurlock and Stan Bowles, with many Brentford fans still in disbelief it was not a promotion-winning team. He won Supporters' Player of the Year in 1983/84. Kamara spent three full seasons at Griffin Park and left in August 1985 to return to Swindon.

Kevin O'Connor

With 501 appearances and 44 goals, O'Connor joined Brentford from Southampton aged 13 in 1995 and made his first-team debut just under a fortnight before his 18th birthday in February 2000. He became a regular under Steve Coppell in 2001/02 and served as a captain for the next 14 years. At the end of the 2014/15 season, O'Connor moved into coaching at Brentford and currently works as one of Thomas Frank’s assistants for the first team.

Lloyd Owusu

Making 250 appearances and scoring 87 goals, Owusu signed for Brentford in 1998 after starring for his hometown club Slough Town. He scored 25 times in all competitions as the Bees won the Third Division in 1998/99 and won the fans over, particularly with his 'raise the roof' goal celebration. Owusu left as the club's seventh-highest ever goalscorer.

Sam Saunders

Holding 205 appearances and scoring 30 goals, Saunders started off as a professional footballer for Dagenham and Redbridge and joined Brentford in 2009. He scored 12 goals and made nine assists in all competitions in 2011/12. He was part of the team that won promotion to League One in 2013/14. Saunders is now Brentford B assistant coach.
