Red Devils are seeking to record back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time under Ruben Amorim
Manchester United will kick-off the Premier League weekend with a trip to the capital to face Brentford.
The mood in the United camp should be high following the 2-1 win over Chelsea last time out as captain Bruno Fernandes notched his 100th goal for the club.
However, back-to-back league wins under Ruben Amorim has proven to be an impossible task for the Red Devils since the managerial change almost a year ago and they are yet to record an away victory in any competition so far this season.
Brentford, meanwhile, have been strong at home under new head coach Keith Andrews and snatched a point in injury time against west London rivals Chelsea earlier in the month.
Just three points separates the two clubs heading into the weekend, though the incentive for Man United is a win will move them level on points with Arsenal and Tottenham - albeit for a few hours at least.
Brentford vs Manchester United is scheduled for a 12.30pm BST kick-off on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
The match will take place at the Gtech Community Stadium, west London.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports. Coverage starts at 11am BST on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate ahead of the 12.30pm kick-off.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.
Free highlights: Match of the Day broadcasts on Saturday, September 27, 2025 on BBC One at 10.30pm BST.
The home side are hopeful of having Paris Maghoma and Gustavo Nunes available for selection after injury.
That said, no fresh fitness concerns were reported after the loss to Fulham, meaning Brentford should be well rested after having a full week to prepare for the visit of United.
As for the Red Devils, Amorim has been handed a massive boost with Diogo Dalot returning to training this week after missing the Manchester derby and the win over Chelsea through injury.
It remains to be seen if the full-back will earn an immediate recall to the matchday squad, but there are doubts over Noussair Mazraoui as he was not spotted in the aforementioned session.
Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount are pushing for starts after returning as substitutes in the win over Chelsea, while Bryan Mbeumo is expected to feature against his former club and Casemiro is suspended.
Lisandro Martinez is making good progress following knee surgery earlier in the year, but the Argentine is not expected to be available for action for at least another month or so.

Man United impressed in patches against Chelsea but these are the types of fixtures they tend to struggle in. Amorim will be looking to build on last weekend’s win over the Blues, though there’s little reason to have much confidence in the Red Devils for this one.
All of Brentford’s points this season have come at home and we are expecting a share of the spoils this weekend.
1-1 draw.
Both sides traded home wins last season with Brentford taking a 4-1 lead in the corresponding fixture before holding off a late Man United comeback to win 4-3.
