Brentford travel to Elland Road on Sunday looking to extend an unbeaten start to the season that already includes a 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur and a 6-1 League Cup thrashing of Birmingham City.
Keith Andrews’ side have won just once in their last four meetings with Leeds, but arrive full of confidence after what their head coach called a positive start built on hard work.
Sepp van den Berg (groin) and Antoni Milambo (knee) remain the club’s only confirmed absentees, with Andrews reporting no fresh injury concerns and saying the squad “came through midweek really well.” Yegor Yarmoliuk is a doubt due to a lack of match fitness. There is no other fresh selection concern for Andrews heading into the weekend.
El Hadji Malick Diouf, a £40m signing from West Ham United completed this week, is in line to make his debut at left-back, with Andrews saying the 21-year-old “fits what we are about” in terms of age profile and attributes. His arrival pushes Keane Lewis-Potter, who has featured in various positions across the past two seasons, back into a more rotational role.
Igor Thiago continues to lead the line, with Andrews’ front three of Thiago, Dango Ouattara and Kevin Schade having already scored three times against Tottenham this season.
Brentford possible starting XI (4-2-3-1): Kelleher; Kayode, Ajer, Collins, Diouf; Janelt, Sangaré; Ouattara, Jensen, Schade; Thiago
The Premier League match kicks off at 14:00 BST on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League in the UK.
