Brest moved late to bolster their attack, taking Djylian N'Guessan and Noah Edjouma on loan while keeping their core. According to L'Équipe, the club paired short-term reinforcements with continuity.

N'Guessan, eighteen, arrives from Liverpool on loan immediately after leaving Saint-Étienne, where the centre-forward played 13 senior matches.

Edjouma, twenty, is a France Under-21 international with three caps. Brest would be his third French club in seven months after a €five million winter move from Toulouse to Lille. He is likely to target the right wing vacated by Romain Del Castillo, who left for Osasuna on Tuesday.

Del Castillo made 150 Brest appearances and has signed a two-year deal with Osasuna for €one million plus €500,000 in bonuses.

Mama Baldé, the forward with four goals across two seasons, is wanted by MLS side Houston. The clubs have an agreement, but as of Tuesday he had yet to approve, and the MLS window closes on Wednesday.
