Renato Gregório of Corinthians was named player of the tournament at the Futsal Down World Cup in Mérida, Mexico, as Brazil secured a fourth successive crown on Saturday. According to Meu Timao, the 28-year-old was central to the campaign.

He scored 28 goals to finish as top scorer, was named the tournament's best player and took the final's best player prize.
