Brest will be without Kamory Doumbia and Mama Baldé for Saturday's Ligue 1 home match against Rennes at 19:00.

The club said in a statement that Baldé has gone to Clairefontaine for a thigh injury, with three weeks of treatment planned and he should return in the week of the trip to Nantes on 19 April, the 30th round, and that midfielder Kamory Doumbia has an adductor problem, will remain in treatment this week, and is already ruled out.

Baldé excelled on 13 December despite Brest losing 1-3 to Rennes in the reverse fixture.

The Bissau-Guinean forward featured for 25 minutes in the 0-3 defeat by Auxerre on 21 March. The injury has already kept him out for two and a half months and will sideline him again.

Doumbia had to pull out at the last moment before the Auxerre match.
