According to a report by L’Équipe, Stade Brestois will likely be without right-back Kenny Lala (33) for at least two of their upcoming fixtures.
The French outlet writes that Lala has suffered an injury to his thigh and will be unavailable for the visit to Lille OSC on Saturday evening. The fullback could also be a doubt for when the club hosts PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Tuesday the 12th of December.
While Brest will be able to rely on their backup right-back Luck Zogbé (19) in the match against Lille, the teenager is unavailable for selection in the club’s European fixtures. Instead, the French outlet writes that Brest may have to field the versatile midfielder Edimilson Fernandes (28).
Fernandes did pick up an injury during the 3-1 victory over RC Strasbourg on the weekend and was replaced early into the second half. However, it appears the Swiss international has recovered from that setback.
