Roony Bardghji’s future at FC Barcelona may ultimately be decided by events elsewhere in the Premier League.
The Swedish winger has attracted interest from several clubs after requesting a move in search of regular first-team football.
While Barcelona remain happy with his development and would be willing to keep him, they also understand the player’s desire for greater opportunities.
Among the clubs monitoring his situation, Brighton have emerged as one of the most intriguing possibilities, reports SPORT.
Barcelona’s summer departures have progressed slowly, with the ongoing World Cup contributing to a quieter transfer market.
Following Inaki Pena’s move to Panathinaikos and with Ansu Fati’s permanent departure expected to be completed soon, attention has turned to other players who could leave before the transfer window gathers pace.

Marc Casado remains a candidate for an exit, while Bardghji’s future is becoming increasingly active. The club have made it clear to the 19-year-old that they value his talent and believe he has a long-term future at Barcelona.
However, with Lamine Yamal firmly established ahead of him, both Barça and Hansi Flick understand why the Swedish youngster wants more consistent playing time.
Should Bardghji decide to remain, Flick would gladly keep him in the squad, impressed by his technical quality and ability to beat defenders one-on-one.
Several European clubs have already made enquiries. Stuttgart, Ajax and Porto have all explored the possibility of signing Bardghji, but the winger is carefully considering his next move.
His priority is joining a project where he can play an important role rather than simply securing a transfer.
Financially, Premier League clubs are also able to offer more attractive packages than many of their European counterparts.
Leeds United have shown interest, but Brighton are now considered one of the strongest contenders.

Brighton’s pursuit of Bardghji may depend on the future of one of their own players.
The club are waiting to see whether 21-year-old winger Yankuba Minteh leaves this summer. Several Premier League sides have expressed interest in the Gambian international, with Liverpool reportedly among the clubs considering an offer.
Should Minteh depart, Brighton are expected to move quickly for Bardghji. Both Barcelona and the player’s representatives are aware of that possibility and are monitoring developments closely.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are not actively pushing him towards the exit. However, if the right proposal arrives, the club are prepared to negotiate.
One structure currently under consideration would involve a permanent transfer while allowing Barcelona to retain a buy-back clause.
Such an agreement would provide Bardghji with the regular minutes he is seeking while ensuring Barcelona preserve the possibility of bringing him back should he fulfil his considerable potential in England.
