Brighton & Hove Albion: Stand or Fall exhibition is a must for Seagulls | OneFootball

Brighton & Hove Albion: Stand or Fall has opened at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery, celebrating 125 years of the club. It is a trip every Seagulls supporter should make.

According to WeAreBrighton.com, the exhibition was announced on Monday 19th May 2025, previewed by the media on Thursday 13th August, then opened on Saturday 15th August 2026.

A blue-and-white inflatable greets visitors. Upstairs, curator Jody East has shaped a 1,000 square foot gallery that uses fan voices to bring the story to life.

Its centrepiece is a model merging the West Stand at the Amex, the Goldstone’s North Stand with its floodlight, and Withdean’s South Stand and running track.

Mini figures dot the stands, from a tiny Tony Bloom waving a scarf in the directors’ box to evoke promotion against Wigan Athletic in 2017, to Lewis Dunk spotting himself celebrating with Joao Pedro after a 2023-24 Europa League win.

Dunk called the stadium model his favourite and did not quite ace the interactive quiz, even with Jack Hinshelwood alongside. Big screens replay goals and moments.

Museum admission applies. Adults pay £10.50, ages five to 18 pay £5, with £8 for Brighton & Hove residents in BN1, BN2, BN3 and BN41, and for students at the University of Brighton, the University of Sussex and Greater Brighton Metropolitan College. Tickets are valid for 12 months.

Stand or Fall tells a unique club story, from Goldstone-era memories to the 1990s survival fight. A future VR element could enhance it further.
