Brighton new boy Pascal Struijk is targeting a first Holland call-up as he begins life at Albion, hoping to follow Jan Paul van Hecke.

Struijk’s first task is to earn a place as a left-sided centre-back. He did not feature against Roma and fans will hope to see him when Albion face Bologna on Saturday, their final run-out before visiting the winners of Tromso v Cluj in the Conference League third qualifying round, a tie that concludes this evening with the Norwegians 5-0 up from the away leg.
