Brighton & Hove Albion have allowed two defenders to move to the Championship, with Igor Julio joining Burnley permanently and Eiran Cashin returning to Derby County on a season-long loan.
According to TheArgus.co.uk, Igor has signed a three-year deal at Turf Moor as boss Nicky Hayen looks for defensive steel, for three million pounds plus add-ons.
The former Fiorentina defender, 28, was popular with Albion fans. He said: "Once I heard of the interest and spoke to the manager, I wanted to get the move done and I'm ready for this next chapter now in my career."
Sporting director Mike Cave praised Igor’s professionalism, noting he featured regularly during Albion’s first season in European competition, and thanked him for his service.
Cashin has rejoined Derby, the club he left for the Seagulls 18 months ago. He impressed at Blackburn last season and trained well this summer. Like Igor, he featured only fleetingly in pre-season friendlies.
Cave said the familiar surroundings should help Cashin settle quickly and that the club look forward to his progress over the coming season.
