The Sussex club announced the deal via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 23-year-old defender is The Seagulls’ first signing of the summer transfer window. She joins Brighton & Hove Albion upon the expiry of her contract at former club FC Twente and she has signed a two-year deal at The Amex Stadium.
Olislagers has spent the last four years playing in the Azerion Eredivisie Vrouwen with FC Twente. She won nine domestic trophies with ‘The Strong Women’, those being three Azerion Eredivisie Vrouwen titles, three Eredivisie Cups, two Dutch Women’s Super Cups and the KNVB Women’s Cup.
On the international stage, Olislagers has represented The Netherlands on 12 occasions at senior level after working her way through the various youth age groups.
After adding Olislagers to the Brighton & Hove Albion squad, the club’s Managing Director, Zoe Johnson said “We are pleased to announce Marisa as our first signing of the summer transfer window.
“She’s a versatile defender who will complement our squad well, she already possesses the experience of winning trophies at a young age and we’re eager to see what she can add to the team in the forthcoming season.”
