Brighton sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham in club-record deal | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, Brighton have signed Croatian centre-back Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham in a permanent deal worth 54 million euros, a club-record fee, on a contract until 2031 with an option for a further year.

Vuskovic, 19, leaves without making an appearance for Tottenham. He was recruited in 2023 at 16 and officially arrived in London in 2025.

He spent last season on loan at Hamburg. He featured once at the World Cup and has six caps for Croatia. The defender came through Hajduk Split.

The fee also makes him the second most expensive Croatian player in history, behind Josko Gvardiol’s 90 million euro move from Leipzig to Manchester City in summer 2023.

It is the second significant deal between the clubs this summer, after Jan Paul Van Hecke moved to Tottenham last month for nearly 60 million euros.
