Coventry City completed the impressive loan capture of Brooke Norton-Cuffy from Arsenal on loan for the rest of the season on Friday.

The 18-year-old caught the eye in 2022 during loan spells at Lincoln City and Rotherham United, and will join up with the promotion-chasing Sky Blues in aiming to cement a position in the starting XI.

The England U19 international has shown great promise in bombing up and down the right flank since heading out into the EFL, and will bolster the options available to Mark Robins in the right wing back position.

Norton-Cuffy may be in competition with Josh Eccles, Fankaty Dabo and Todd Kane for the right wing back berth, but with the former two able to slot into other positions and the latter falling out of favour, Norton-Cuffy’s parent club will be confident that regular game-time can be achieved.

The 18-year-old took to Instagram to send a message to Coventry supporters.

“Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome.”

This does look to be a smart re-deployment from the Gunners, with a very difficult second half to the campaign seemingly approaching at Rotherham United.

Robins has a sensational record for player development at Coventry, with the CBS Arena providing a platform for players from big six academies to settle into senior football and begin to thrive.

Norton-Cuffy is an edge-of-your-set wideman, his pace in attack and defence is a very interesting watch and he will be hoping to add a bit more end product to his game.

Turning 19 next week, the Londoner still has so much time to develop, and more than likely will be heading out on loan somewhere else next season, if he continues his steep upward trajectory, it would not be a surprise to see him get a crack in a top European league next term.
