Brouwer strike lifts Telstar to 15th in Breda | OneFootball

Telstar beat NAC Breda 1-0 at Rat Verlegh Stadion to rise from 18th to 15th in the Eredivisie, with the hosts slipping from 17th to 18th.

In the 77th minute Patrick Brouwer turned in from close range after Adil Lechkar's cut-back for the decisive moment.

Daniel Bielica made three saves for NAC Breda, including a low stop from Brouwer, but he could not keep out the winner. Ronald Koeman claimed two saves, one from an Enes Mahmutovic header, as Telstar protected their lead.

After the interval, Anthony Correia introduced Lechkar and the visitors found more bite down the right, the substitute supplying the assist.

Five minutes of second half stoppage time were signalled and Moussa Soumano saw a shot blocked in the fourth minute, but Telstar held firm.

NAC Breda had 62.2% possession and eight corners. Telstar posted four shots on target from 11 attempts.
