After Nathaniel Brown won his second cap for Germany against Slovakia on Monday, the international break concludes on Tuesday with seven Eagles in action, including a decider for Rasmus Kristensen.

There were 72 minutes on the clock when Nathaniel Brown entered the field in Leipzig. The 22-year-old was making his second appearance for the German senior national team, and it ended in a 6-0 victory against Slovakia. The win in the final and all-important group match confirmed the team’s place at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Brown had made his debut for Germany just over a month ago, in the 4-0 win over Luxembourg on 10 October, following 14 outings for the U21 side. Jonathan Burkardt, the other Frankfurt man in Julian Nagelsmann’s squad, did not feature against Slovakia.

Excitement guaranteed

No fewer than seven Eagles will be involved as the third FIFA international window of the season comes to a close on Tuesday. While Ellyes Skhiri’s Tunisia and Ritsu Doan’s Japan are involved in friendlies, the other five are fighting for crucial qualifying points. Aurèle Amenda with Switzerland in Kosovo and Arthur Theate with Belgium against Liechtenstein both need to finish off the job, while Rasmus Kristensen and Denmark travel to Scotland in a showdown for victory in Group C. Meanwhile, Nnamdi Collins and Noah Fenyö are in action in U21 EURO qualifying – Germany play Georgia away, Hungary are at home to Croatia.
