Brunner strike keeps Monaco top after own goal setback

Strasbourg 1-1 Monaco at Stade de la Meinau on Saturday, the leaders staying top and unbeaten as Paris Brunner cancelled out an own goal.

In the 52nd minute Sadibou Sané diverted into his own net to put Le Racing ahead. Brunner levelled with a fierce right-footer into the top left from outside the box (71.).

Lukas Hradecky kept Les Rouge et Blanc in it with smart saves from Sebastian Nanasi and Gessime Yassine, while Filip Jorgensen parried Denis Zakaria's drive before the interval.

An early injury forced Anis Soubeir off, with Matthis Abline introduced and Lamine Camara later threading the pass for Brunner's equaliser after the restart.
