Bruno Henrique welcomed Flamengo's 1-1 draw at Cruzeiro in the Libertadores last 16 at the Mineirão, and voiced concern over an ankle injury.
According to Globo.com, the forward started the first leg and left the pitch with ice on his left ankle after a first-half studs-up challenge by Matheus Henrique.
The result leaves the tie open for next week at the Maracanã, where the winner will advance to the quarter-finals. Henrique said the team came to win and expected a difficult night. He added they kept chasing goals and is confident of a strong performance with home support.
He stopped short of criticising the officiating over the absence of a red card for the Cruzeiro midfielder, but signalled his displeasure. He initially mentioned Matheus Pereira, although the incident involved Matheus Henrique.
The striker said he was in significant pain and will await a medical assessment before beginning recovery, aiming to be ready as soon as possible.
