Bruno Lage’s Benfica cast-off Benjamin Rollheiser ‘to draw’ Italian interest

Benjamin Rollheiser could be set for a return to Europe, with several Italian clubs said to be interested after his form at Santos, according to Glorioso 1904.

No clubs were named, and Santos are understood to be monitoring developments. The São Paulo side are keen to secure a significant fee, around 15 million euros.

Late in the season, the Argentine was used in Neymar's role.

Rollheiser arrived at Benfica in the 2024 winter window at Roger Schmidt's request, but he failed to make an impact. He later lost his place during Bruno Lage's spell.

In 2025 with Santos, he was valued at 7 million euros and featured in about 40 matches across all competitions, scoring goals and providing three assists.
