Manchester United forward Bryan Mbeumo has now won three monthly awards after confirmation that he successfully warded off competition to claim the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month trophy.
Mbeumo was superb for United last month as the club embarked on an unbeaten run of fixtures that remains active to date.
He played a key role for United as they secured three Premier League victories over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion.
Mbeumo registered an assist for Mason Mount’s opener against Sunderland, following that up by breaking the deadlock in United’s 2-1 win vs. bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
He saved his best October performance for last as he delivered a sensational brace in the 4-2 home triumph over Brighton.
Mbeumo won United’s Player of the Month award for October as well as the Premier League equivalent.
Now, it has been confirmed that he has also scooped up the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month accolade to cap off what was a brilliant month for him.
Mbeumo was nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award alongside teammate Senne Lammens, Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth), Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal) and Nordi Mukiele (Sunderland).
It has been announced that the Cameroonian garnered the most votes.
Mbeumo has certainly looked the part since joining United from Brentford during the summer transfer window, and he appears to be getting started.
He was on the score sheet yet again last weekend as United played out a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in North London.
Deployed in a largely unfamiliar left position, Mbeumo positioned himself well at the back post to head home a sumptuous delivery from Amad.
After the final whistle, Mbeumo promised United fans that he and his teammates will do everything possible to extend the club’s unbeaten streak.
