Once again on the scoresheet in the match against FC Augsburg, Beninese striker Andréas Hountondji is proving simply unstoppable at the start of this Bundesliga season with St. Pauli.

Andréas Hountondji continues to impress in the Bundesliga with FC St. Pauli. In the match against FC Augsburg, the Beninese forward netted a crucial goal to draw level before halftime. He initially missed his penalty, but quickly reacted to convert the rebound into a goal.

With this goal, Hountondji becomes the first player in St. Pauli's history to score in each of the first three matchdays of the season.

FC St. Pauli then took the lead thanks to a Danel Sinani free-kick and went on to win the match 2-1. Hountondji was substituted at halftime, likely due to fatigue after a busy start to the season with international fixtures. On loan from Burnley, the young Beninese international is now establishing himself as a key player for St. Pauli.
