Ramaj conceded twice but was blameless for either goal, doing everything possible to keep the score respectable against Borussia Dortmund. The 23-year-old loanee produced six saves in total including several spectacular stops – against his parent club.

Defenders:

Felix Agu, Werder Bremen

Agu played a key role in keeping Robin Hack and the Gladbach attack largely quiet, winning 8 of 10 duels in Werder’s crushing 4-0 victory. He also completed 87% of his passes.

Willi Orban, RB Leipzig

Leipzig secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Mainz, keeping a clean sheet thanks in large part to Orban, who was a commanding presence at the back, winning 11 of 14 duels.

Ramy Bensebaini, Borussia Dortmund

The Algeria international put in an extremely solid performance for Dortmund, winning five duels and completing an impressive 94% of his 120 passes.

Alejandro Grimaldo, Bayer Leverkusen

The Spanish left-back scored two stunning free-kick goals and also played a crucial leadership role for Bayer Leverkusen, giving his all and being vocal on the pitch.

Midfielders:

Aleksander Pavlovic, FC Bayern

Given the nod over Leon Goretzka, he put in an impressive midfield performance, completing 96% of his passes and scoring a rare goal.

Maximilian Arnold, Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg’s captain gave his all, providing an assist and scoring a brilliant free-kick goal, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win, as the game ended 3-3 against Köln.

Tim Lemperle, Hoffenheim

Working tirelessly, Lemperle contributed both a goal and an assist in Hoffenheim’s 4-2 win over Union Berlin.

Samuel Mbangula, Werder Bremen

Mbangula played a pivotal role in Werder’s 4-0 triumph over Gladbach, scoring his first Bundesliga goal and providing an assist.

Strikers:

Harry Kane, FC Bayern

The England captain took his league goal tally to five with an impressive brace and also chipped in with an assist.

Fisnik Asllani, Hoffenheim

The striker continued his excellent start to the season with a clinical brace in Hoffenheim’s 4-2 win.
