CAF Champions League: Pyramids FC too strong for RS Berkane

Pyramids FC sent a clear message to their rivals. In front of their home fans in Cairo, the Egyptian side cruised to a commanding 3-0 victory over RS Berkane on matchday four of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Right from the start, the hosts showed their intentions. Well set up by Naser Maher, Zalaka finished coolly in the 11th minute to give Pyramids FC the perfect start. Despite a few Moroccan attempts, the Egyptians controlled proceedings up to halftime. After the break, Berkane tried to respond but ran into a well-organized defensive block. Pyramids' dominance eventually paid off in the 74th minute, when Naser Maher doubled the lead.

Six minutes later, Ahmed Atef opportunistically hammered home the third, sealing his side’s superiority. Defensively solid and ruthlessly efficient in attack, Pyramids FC left no chance for an RS Berkane side overwhelmed by the hosts’ intensity and technical precision.

With this win, Pyramids FC move to the top of Group A, while Berkane fall behind in the race for qualification.
