Cameroon face Eswatini this Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 19:00 GMT as part of the 7th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Marc Brys will not be fielding Christopher Wooh in defense. The 23-year-old center-back has reached an agreement with the Cameroon Football Federation to be excused from this match so he can finalize the details of his transfer to Spartak Moscow.

The former Rennes defender, who has 21 caps (2 goals), is expected to be available for the technical staff for the trip to Cape Verde on September 9, in the top clash of group D.

The Indomitable Lions are currently second in group D, trailing leaders Cape Verde by a single point, and are hoping to win both of their September fixtures to get back on track.
