Tunisia is once again among the traditional contenders for ultimate glory in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Carthage Eagles will compete in Group C alongside Tanzania, Nigeria, and Uganda.

Overview

Tunisia is set to make its 22nd appearance in the AFCON finals, following participations in 1962, 1963, 1965, 1978, 1982, 1964, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.

Their trophy cabinet boasts a single title, earned in 2004 after a thrilling final victory over Morocco, 2-1.
