Scoring at AFCON 2006 for Egypt, Hossam Hassan stands as the oldest goal scorer in the tournament’s history. The Pharaohs’ striker found the net during the victory over DR Congo (4-1) at the remarkable age of 39 years, 5 months, and 24 days.

Just behind him, Zambia’s Kalusha Bwalya found the back of the net at 36 years, 5 months, and 17 days in a thrilling 2-2 draw against Senegal at AFCON 2000.

Cameroon legend Roger Milla, who scored against Nigeria at AFCON 1988 (1-1), completes the podium at 35 years, 9 months, and 26 days old.
