MIAMI – The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2025 continues as Concacaf nation Canada plays its second match of the Group Stage on Wednesday.

Canada seeks a second consecutive victory to defend its first place standing in Group D. A victory would confirm a place in the Round of 16 for the Canadians.

Canada vs. Samoa

Canada faces Samoa in Group D at Football Academy Mohammed VI (Pitch 1) in Salé, Morocco. The encounter marks a first-time meeting between the national teams.

The Reds began the tournament with a 4-1 victory against Nigeria on Sunday. Julia Amireh stood out with a brace to seal the victory. Gabriela Istocki scored the opening goal two minutes in, with Melisa Kekic doubling the lead in the second half.

Samoa is coming off a 4-2 defeat in its tournament debut against France. Jayde Eldredge and Makea Leonard scored the goals for Samoa.
