Canada faces Nigeria in FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup return

MIAMI – Canada begins its campaign at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 when it meets Nigeria in Group D on Sunday at the Football Academy Mohammed VI (Pitch 2) in Salé, Morocco.
Canada returns to the U-17 WCC for the first time since India 2022. It will mark the nation’s eight appearance. The best finish for the program came at Uruguay 2018, when Canada finished in fourth place.
The Canucks will begin their campaign against Nigeria. The last time these teams faced each other was in 2012, each getting a point after a 1-1 draw.
