Canada Soccer have yet to decide whether Alphonso Davies will be called up for March internationals against Iceland and Tunisia.
The full-back, recently back from injury, suffered a knock in Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Werder Bremen on 14 February.
A torn muscle fibre is expected to be the issue for the 25-year-old. Canada Soccer said in a statement that their medical staff remain in close communication with Bayern Munich's counterparts over Davies, and that no decision has been made on his availability for the March window. They added the full squad will be announced in the coming weeks.
Relations between the parties are already strained after Bayern threatened to sue Canada Soccer in March 2025.
Davies is regarded as one of Les Rouges' key players, with 58 caps, 15 goals and 18 assists.
Further updates are expected before the March window.
