Fabio Capello did not enjoy the performance he saw from either side during the 0-0 draw between his former sides Juventus and Milan in Serie A on Sunday evening, describing the first half as ‘boring’, and criticising both sides for lacking courage.

Juventus and Milan settled for a 0-0 draw at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday evening in a game that saw Christian Pulisic miss from the penalty spot, while Rafael Leao also had an opportunity to win it for the Rossoneri in the 90th minute.

Juventus, who have now drawn five matches in succession across all competitions, were booed off the pitch, while Milan have been criticised for missing their chance to stay at the top of the table heading into the October international break.

Capello feels that both Juventus and Milan were too afraid to take any ‘risks’ during Sunday evening’s game, which he felt led to a ‘boring’ match to watch.

“Juve-Milan was not a great show,” Capello told Radio anch’io Sport (via Milannews.it).

“A very boring first half, the two teams didn’t have the courage to take any risks. We saw a little bit more in the second half. From two teams like that, we were expecting more of a spectacle. They were all rightly booed at the end.”

There is one particular decision from Igor Tudor that Capello can’t get his head around.

“I didn’t understand the decision to replace Conceicao,” Capello siad.
