Cardiff City suffer another injury blow | OneFootball

Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy expects Isaak Davies to miss Tuesday’s Championship clash with Stoke after suffering a hamstring injury.

The Wales international was absent from the squad for Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth after feeling discomfort during training on Friday.

“Isaak Davies wasn’t fit,” Barry-Murphy said. “He felt his hamstring in training yesterday, so I imagine he won’t be available for Tuesday.”

Calum Chambers is also set to remain sidelined with a knee problem and is unlikely to return before the September international break.

“The rest of the guys are back around the international break, so I don’t imagine anything will change between now and Tuesday,” he added.

“Chambers is in the same bracket as Dylan and Will Fish. He won’t be available for Tuesday and it’s a bit more complicated because of his injury.”
