Carlos Tevez set to stage La Bombonera farewell in December

Carlos Tevez is organising a long-awaited farewell match at La Bombonera in December, reuniting with Boca Juniors supporters in his playing kit.
According to SuperDepor.com, 19 December is emerging as the favoured date, with around 60 former team-mates from spells at Manchester United, Juventus and Manchester City among those who would be invited.
The Apache’s last competitive appearance in blue and gold came on 31 May 2021. Days later he announced in a press conference that he was leaving the club, ending a glittering story across three successful stints.
Tevez won 11 official trophies with Boca. His domestic haul includes five league titles in 2003, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2020, plus the Copa Argentina in 2015, the Supercopa Argentina in 2018 and the Copa de Liga in 2020.
Internationally, he lifted the Libertadores in 2003, the Intercontinental in 2003 and the Sudamericana in 2004.
