Grêmio won 2-0 at Estádio Estrela D'Alva, playing the second half with a man advantage. Carlos Vinicius was the standout.

According to Globo.com, Carlos Vinícius offered greater presence in the box and competed strongly, and once again opened the scoring.

He topped the performance rankings on 7.5. Edenílson and Gabriel Mec were rated 7.0, as was Luís Castro.

Marcos Rocha, Luis Eduardo and Viery each received 6.0. Weverton and João Pedro were on 5.5, as was Jefinho.

Caio Paulista, Willian, Roger and André scored 5.0. Enamorado was given 6.0, with Aravena the lowest on 4.5.
