Carol Nogueira has gone more than a year without scoring in an official match for Corinthians, her last goal coming on 12 August 2025 in a 2-0 win over Ferroviária in the Paulista Feminino.
She has since played in nine official games without finding the net. She did score twice against América in the Teal Rising Cup, but those do not count towards official records. As reported by Meu Timao, the 33-year-old has faced absences and a positional switch.
Between September and October 2025 she stepped away for family reasons. On returning, she saw limited minutes under Lucas Piccinato, a pattern that continued at the start of 2026.
Things shifted with Emily Lima’s arrival in February, as coach tried Nogueira at right-back. On 23 March 2026, in a 4-0 win over América-MG, she was substituted after 21 minutes with knee pain.
No injury was found, and she later addressed negative comments on social media. After recovering she made three substitute appearances, then suffered a left rectus femoris injury in April and missed the month.
This season she has eight appearances across 26 team matches, with two starts and one assist. Her latest outing was last Wednesday in a 4-1 win over Mirassol in the Paulistão.
Since 2023 Nogueira has 72 games, 14 goals, 13 assists and six trophies, including three Brasileirões and a Libertadores.
Her deal runs to season’s end, and she can sign a pre-contract. The next chance comes on Saturday 15 August, away to Bahia.
