Carolina Ferreira leaves Marítimo to join FC Porto

Carolina Ferreira, a forward from Funchal aged 19, is leaving Marítimo to sign for FC Porto, recently promoted to Liga BPI. The player, who has stood out in the Marítimo club’s youth ranks, is thus taking a new step in her career and heading to Porto to join the squad coached by Daniel Chaves.

For Marítimo’s under-19s, she has scored 30 goals in 38 games, in addition to making 20 appearances for the first team over the last two seasons.
