Roma faces AC Milan tonight, but Massara and the club are focused on the transfer market.
The priority remains attack, with Gasperini requesting a winger, partly to replace Baldanzi and Bailey, who left Trigoria this transfer window.
Among the various names being considered, Carrasco seems to be the most likely.
The Belgian wants to return to Europe, and Roma has intensified contact with the player’s agents in recent weeks.
According to Saudi broadcaster Arriyadiyah, Carrasco’s agents are reportedly pushing his current club, Al-Shabab, to accept Roma’s offer for the player.
The pressure stems from a contractual clause that could expedite the transfer.
Fabrizio Romano also reports that the Belgian is hoping to join Roma and is willing to move on loan, despite other clubs being ready to acquire him permanently. However, the Giallorossi are only open to a loan deal.
