Real Madrid will welcome Real Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Sunday as they look to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a solid 2-0 win over Sevilla before the winter break, which should give them some confidence ahead of this game.
Xabi Alonso will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his starting XI for this contest. Alvaro Carreras, Federico Valverde and Gonzalo Garcia could all play from the start of this game.
Thibaut Courtois will function in between the sticks for the Madrid giants after he kept a clean sheet in his last league outing. Antonio Rudiger will operate alongside Dean Huijsen at the heart of the Real Madrid defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Federico Valverde will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras hopes to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves inside the opponent’s half.
Fran Garcia and Raul Asencio will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler will anchor the midfield for Los Blancos as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo will operate just ahead of them as part of Alonso’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Madrid giants are to secure a convincing win against Real Betis this weekend.
Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Ceballos and Franco Mastantuono will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Gonzalo Garcia will lead the charge for the Madrid giants up top. He has to figure out a way to cause some problems for the opposition centre-backs this Sunday.
Kylian Mbappe will miss this game due to a knee injury.
