There was a number of spectacular goals on show, on Sunday as Celtic FC Women ran out 3-0 winners over Montrose.

In what could have been a frustrating afternoon for the Hoops, Grant Scott’s side showcased their quality with three superb strikes late on in the win at their new home in Kirkintilloch.

Casey Howe was the first to get the scoring underway, with her 82nd-minute strike firing the Hoops in front.

It was a special strike from the winger, who grabbed her first in green and white in style, powering an effort home off the underside of the bar.

And that was followed by another sublime strike going in off the underside of the woodwork, this time from Maria McAneny.

Making her return from injury for the first time since early, McAneny did so in style, scoring on her first appearance of the season.

Both players reflected on the match and their goals after the game.
