Casey Howe signs for Celtic FC Women | OneFootball

Celtic FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of Casey Howe on a two-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Casey arrives at the club having had strong performances with clubs in Ireland and England.During her career so far, the winger has featured for the likes of Glentoran, while also having spells with Sligo Rovers and Athlone Town.

She then made the move to England, joining WSL2 side Nottingham Forest in 2024. The attacker was loaned out to Wolves for the second half of the 2025/26 season, where she helped the club gain promotion to WSL2.A Northern Ireland internationalist since the age of 17, Casey featured in the team’s recent World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Turkey last month.After signing for the club, she said: “It's amazing to be here, a club with such a rich history of winning trophies, both across the men's and the women's side. It's amazing to be sat here.

“That's a given for me. I've won silverware back in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and in England. So I just want to win. I love winning.

“So it's definitely something that excites me to come in, hopefully win some more silver here.”

Celtic FC Women Head Coach, Grant Scott, added: “Casey is an exciting young player who our fans will enjoy watching.

“She has played internationally for Northern Ireland and in WSL2 for two seasons, which showcases her experience at this early point in her career.

“We can’t wait to add her to the squad ahead of the new season.”
